Trying to come up with some good ideas for a writing sample for my MFA applications... I need 20-30 pages of standalone material. Hrmm.

 Now that I've become somewhat accustomed to the daily grind, I understand how a person can age quickly and quietly and never notice until it's too late to change anything.

 Moody weekend, but overall has been pretty good. Doing revisions right now. Have been encouraged by my general satisfaction with the work, although there is still plenty to add/subtract/replace.
